Name of the register

Membership register of FÖSS.

Purpose of use of the register

Information on the activities of the society and on questions relevant to it. Collection of membership fees.

The data contained by the register may be utilised by the administrative board of the society; in respect of e-mail addresses also by persons responsible for updating e-mail lists of the society.

Data is not handed over for marketing purposes, nor for any uses that deviate from those described above.

Data contents of the register

Data communicated by the person, part or the whole of the following:

  • Membership category (supporting member, ordinary member)
  • First name and surname
  • Language
  • Year of birth
  • Occupation
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
For those living on islands, in addtition:
  • Means of communications (car or cable ferry, commuter ferry, bridge, other)
  • Island, municipality
  • Province, region
For families, societies, businesses and municipalities, in addition:
  • First and surname, as well as year of birth of those joining
  • Name of the organisation, and position within it of the person in question

Regulated sources of data

Data contained by the register are communicated by the person herself or himself, there are no other sources.

Regulated delivery or transfer of data beyond the borders of the EU or the European Economic Area

Data is not delivered beyond the borders of the EU or the EEA.

Principles of safeguard regarding the register

Data is kept in a locked space, entrance to which is limited. Data stored in the computerised system is primarily protected by means of taking care of data security.
