FÖSS, Finlands öar rf – Suomen saaret ry, gladly receives new membership applications!

It is easy to send an application online by using the form below. Alternatively you can also print out a separate application form (available as PDF in Finnish and Swedish) and mail it to us. PDF files can be viewed with Adobe Reader.

Information concerning the payment of the membership fee will be forwarded to you after the administrative board has approved your application. If necessary, please contact us for additional information. Adoption of the statutes is a condition for joining.

Membership application

Anybody, regardless of his or her adobe or residence, may join as a supporting member.

Only a person living on an island without permanent road connection with the mainland (i.e., is obliged to utilise a car ferry, a cable ferry or a commuter ferry) may become an ordinary member.

Also entire families, municipalities, societies and businesses with their domiciles on such islands may join as ordinary members.

a private person (5 €/year)
a family (10 €/year), provide below the names and years of birth of the family members
a society or a business (20 €/year), provide below the name and your position in it
a municipality (100 €/year), provide below the name and your position it it
